Traffic Exchange: Clicks Are Paid For By Making Visits
by Mike Leinweber

The term traffic exchange can either describe a website used to manage a network of sites that trade links with each other, or to describe the act of exchanging such website visits through referral programs. The goal of such an exchange is to draw visitors and customers to your webiste, either for sale of your goods or for money earned by attracting visitors. In general, traffic will lead to increased profit.

Different traffic secrets which generate incredibly large number of visits to a web site and thereby increase the profits are quite popular these days. However, there are many such schemes which do not prove beneficial to a web site as they do get large number of visitors but most of them do not interact with your exterior advertisements. In terms of pay per click (PPC), no clicks refers to no cash, even though you might have a good rating.

The key is getting people to you website that have a desire to be there. There is not much benefit in using misleading keywords to trick people into visiting your website. Traffic exchange systems began with the assumption that links between websites of a similar theme have a higher probability of accomplishing more than simply increasing traffic.

You can buy website traffic in a number of ways, from using well known PPC providers to paying for flashy videos placed on video sharing sites to attract viewers just as network television models with commercial sponsors for programming. The price for these can range from very low to prohibitively expensive.

While you can pay ad agencies to run a campaign or for articles to direct traffic to your site using carefully chosen keywords, most traffic exchanges sites are free of charge. There are many such exchanges, and when you are running a small business, you cannot ignore assets that are available for nothing.

Free traffic exchange webs have their good and bad sides. Clicks are paid for by making visits, and it may take seeing two sites to pay for only one visitor. There is a saying that "time is money" and that is true. Some exchanges take less time, making them more cost effective. When you have more time than cash, using this can increase your traffic for no cash cost. Traffic does not by any means guarantee you of more profits, but no traffic at all will in all probability bring failure for you.

The goal of traffic exchange is to draw visitors and customers to your website. In general, more traffic means more profit. Of the many traffic secrets for generating visits to a website, many are not beneficial. The key is attracting people who want to be on your website. There are several ways to buy website traffic, including PPC (Pay Per Click) providers, or placing videos onto video sharing sites. You can write articles with selected keywords, or pay ad agencies for a campaign, but trading links is usually free. When you have more time than cash, using free exchange webs can increase your traffic for no cash cost.
